What would Gia say
If I told her she was smart
If I told her to stand up, stand out
You set yourself apart
What would Gia say
If I told her she was brave
If I told her to look forward
Walk the path that I will pave
What would Gia say
If I told her she was strong
If I told her don’t give up your fight
This journey will be long
What would Gia say
If I told her I was proud
If I told her keep on reaching
Stick your head above the cloud
What would Gia say
If I told her there was hope
If I told her she will conquer this
Together we will cope
These thoughts of adoration
New feelings everyday
Often times I ask myself
What would Gia say?
Beautiful (Poem and Gia)!

You so amaze me and then not… Its like I know this hidden strength feel and talk through life’s big question and then you just put it out there for everyone to experience so clearly. I so hope you see all these amazing things in yourself as you see them in Gia. Love you dearly and ever sooooo proud of you.

Such a touching poem. I have a son with apraxia and I feel like you shared the words in my heart.

I love that my poem touched you so much. There probably isn’t an Apraxia family out there who hasn’t felt these things. Thank you for reading 🙂
